1. Operator and contact

BetBid is operated by PUNT HUB ENTERPRISES PTY LTD, New South Wales, Australia, ABN 44 699 984 284 ("BetBid", "we", "us" or "our").

2. What BetBid is

BetBid is a paid public advertising board. A purchase gives you one randomly assigned number position and the ability to display an eligible brand identity and destination link at that position. Lower numbers appear higher on the board.

A position is an advertising placement only. It is not a wager, lottery ticket, financial product, security, investment, prize, certification or endorsement. Numbers have no intrinsic monetary value beyond the display and transfer features BetBid makes available.

We do not promise any particular number, rank, traffic, clicks, customers, revenue, search-engine result, resale value or other outcome.

3. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
• If you act for a business or another person, you confirm that you have authority to bind them.
• You must not use BetBid where doing so would breach applicable laws, sanctions or trade restrictions.

4. Purchases and random number assignment

The price, currency and applicable taxes are shown before Checkout. Unless the Checkout page says otherwise, a new primary purchase costs US$10 and buys one number position.

Numbers are generated randomly from the available inventory after payment is confirmed. You cannot select a number, and we do not guarantee that a newly assigned number will rank above or below any existing number. Any probabilities displayed by BetBid are mathematical information based on the board state at that time, not a prediction or guarantee.

A Checkout confirmation alone does not create a position. The purchase is complete when Stripe confirms payment and BetBid records the assigned position. If payment succeeds but fulfilment is delayed, we may reconcile the transaction and complete or reverse it as appropriate.

5. Payments, taxes and refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe's terms and privacy practices also apply to payment processing. We do not store your full payment-card number.

You are responsible for taxes, duties and charges that apply to your purchase, except taxes imposed on our income. Prices may change for future purchases.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, completed purchases are final once the digital advertising service has been supplied. Receiving a number or rank you did not hope for, being outranked, receiving fewer visits than expected, choosing not to claim a position, or removal for breaching these Terms does not by itself entitle you to a refund.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable law. Where a mandatory right applies, we will provide the remedy required by law.

6. Ownership claims and account security

A position may be claimed only through the verified email address associated with its eligible purchase. You are responsible for using the correct email address, maintaining access to it, protecting your BetBid account and promptly notifying us of suspected unauthorised access.

Our records determine the recognised controller of a position, subject to payment reversals, fraud review, legal requirements and correction of clear technical errors. We may request reasonable evidence before resolving an ownership dispute.

7. Position management and moves

Owners may update eligible listing details and may use any move functionality BetBid provides. Moves remain subject to available inventory, technical limits, abuse controls and the rules shown in the product at the time. We may correct, reverse or refuse a move caused by fraud, abuse or a technical error.

8. Brokerage and resale

BetBid may allow owners to request a resale listing and buyers to purchase an existing position. A resale is not complete until payment is confirmed, BetBid records the transfer and any required settlement checks are satisfied.

Availability, asking price, fees, seller proceeds and other terms are displayed before the relevant action. A request to list, purchase or transfer a position may be rejected, paused or cancelled where required for payment reconciliation, fraud prevention, sanctions compliance, ownership disputes, technical errors or legal obligations.

BetBid does not promise that a position will sell, retain value or produce a profit. Positions must not be marketed as investments.

9. Listing standards

You must have the rights and authority needed to submit and display your brand name, profile, image, tagline and destination link. Your listing and linked destination must not:

• be unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or misleading;
• infringe copyright, trade marks, privacy, publicity or other rights;
• contain malware, phishing, credential theft or harmful code;
• promote hate, harassment, exploitation, sexual abuse material or credible threats;
• impersonate another person or falsely suggest endorsement by BetBid; or
• evade sanctions, payment controls, moderation or technical safeguards.

We may refuse, hide, restrict or remove listings, links or accounts that we reasonably believe breach these Terms or create legal, safety, security or reputational risk. Where practical, we may allow a listing to be corrected. Removal does not erase historical public-ledger entries.

10. Licence for listing content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, cache, reproduce, resize, format and publicly display that content and associated public website metadata as needed to operate, secure, archive and promote BetBid.

This licence lasts while the content is used for those purposes, including reasonable backups and public ledger records. You confirm that granting this licence does not violate another person's rights.

11. Public ledger, metrics and third-party links

BetBid may publish privacy-limited records of board activity, ownership changes, marketplace events, refunds and disputes. Public records may remain visible after a listing is inactive to preserve the integrity of the ledger.

Counts, probabilities, ranks and other metrics may be delayed, estimated or corrected. They are provided for information only. Links and profiles displayed by advertisers lead to third-party services that we do not control or endorse. You access them at your own risk.

12. Intellectual property

BetBid, its software, visual design, branding and original content are owned by us or our licensors. Except for normal use of the service, you may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with or commercially exploit BetBid without permission, except to the extent applicable law does not permit that restriction.

13. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, suspend or discontinue all or part of BetBid. The service may occasionally be unavailable, delayed or incorrect. We may change future pricing, inventory, board rules, brokerage features and abuse controls.

We will not deliberately change the number already assigned by a valid completed purchase except where reasonably necessary to correct fraud, duplication, a payment reversal, legal non-compliance or a clear technical error.

14. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, BetBid is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, a particular rank, traffic, commercial performance, resale outcome or the accuracy of third-party content.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, goodwill or data arising from BetBid. Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our aggregate liability relating to a particular purchase is limited to the amount paid to us for that purchase.

These limitations do not apply to fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Any liability is reduced to the extent that your acts or omissions contributed to the loss.

15. Your responsibility for claims

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses, liabilities and costs we incur because your listing, destination, payment conduct or use of BetBid breaches these Terms, violates law or infringes another person's rights. This does not require you to compensate us for loss caused by our own negligence, unlawful conduct or breach.

16. Suspension and termination

You may stop using BetBid at any time. We may suspend or terminate access, ownership controls, listings or transactions where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate fraud, comply with law or protect the service. Provisions that by their nature should continue—including payment, licence, ledger, liability and dispute provisions—survive termination.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and BetBid submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and courts entitled to hear appeals from them.

Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us at info@punthub.com.au and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. This does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or using a right available under consumer law.

18. General terms

If part of these Terms is unenforceable, it will be read down or severed to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining terms will continue. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver. You may not transfer your agreement with us except through BetBid functionality or with our written consent. We may transfer our rights and obligations as part of a restructure, sale or transfer of BetBid, subject to applicable law.

19. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as BetBid or applicable law changes. We will update the effective date on this page. Material changes apply prospectively unless a change is required to address law, security, fraud or abuse. The terms shown at Checkout ordinarily govern that purchase.
